About our service
CARPET/UPHOLSTERY CLEANING PROCESS
Carpet steam cleaning, also known as hot water extraction, is a thorough, deep cleaning process. We pre-spray your carpet first using the most advanced chemicals which begin to work immediately, breaking down and loosening dirt and soiling. Then, we use our powerful truck-mounted hot water extraction machine to give a deep steam clean of your carpet. Finally, we utilise a clean rinse to condition, stabilised & neutralise the pH of your carpet to improve the lifespan of your clean carpets. This ensures your carpet stays cleaner for longer. Included in the cost is the spot treatment of any spots, leaving you with clean, sanitised and deodorised carpet.
CARPET DRYING TIMES
Drying times will vary depending on the type of carpet, air flow and the weather conditions, however they can generally be walked on shortly after cleaning. Please however, be careful when stepping from the damp carpet to hard surfaces as it can be slippery. Some carpets in warm conditions will dry in just a matter of a couple hours & others can take a day or so. We will endeavour to adjust our process to suit your circumstances while ensuring the best clean possible is delivered. Upholstery generally drys much quicker! You can aid the drying time by opening up windows and turning on fans/heaters/coolers etc. Our high heat & powerful vacuums ensure the best steam cleaning drying times possible, even on cold winter days.
TILE & GROUT CLEANING
Our tile & grout cleaning process uses tailored chemicals to break down and loosen years of dirt, grime and soiling in bothe the tile & grout lines. Then, we use our powerful truck-mounted hot water extraction machine at high pressure & hgh heart with our specialise tile surface cleaner to wash & vacuum the surface. We work on the edges and details & give them a final mop & rinse. In some cases we may dry the surface. We specialise in cleaning ceramic, terracotta and porcelain surfaces, as well as natural stone.

Frequently Asked Questions
-

How long will my carpets take to dry?“How long will my carpets take to dry?” This one of the most common questions we get asked, and one of the most difficult to answer! This is because the answer depends on a lot of different situations, including the weather outside, the type of carpet you have and the conditions inside your home. Wool carpets will always take longer to dry, due to the fact that wool is a natural fibre that will hold onto more water than a synthetic carpet fibre. In summer, with good air flow and a nice warm day, you are looking at around 4-6 hours to dry. In winter however, or on cooler days, dry times are longer. Our cleaning methods, using hot water for greater evaporation and very strong extraction to pull a lot of the water out of your carpet, ensures your carpets are dry faster, even on the coldest days!

How often should I clean my carpets? At Fresh Cleaning Gv, we recommend cleaning your carpets at least every 1-2 years. Regular carpet cleaning is essential to maintain a healthy living environment by removing dirt, allergens, and bacteria that accumulate over time. For households with pets, children, or high foot traffic commercial settings, more frequent cleanings every 3 to 6 months may be necessary to ensure optimal cleanliness and prolong the life of your carpets. Our professional services are designed to deliver deep cleaning results, eliminating tough stains and odours, and leaving your carpets looking fresh and revitalized. At the end of the day it all comes down to your personal preference.

What is DI/WFP window cleaning? Our de-ionisation (DI) window cleaning system us mixed bed resin as the lifeblood for water-fed window cleaning. It works to purify the water (removing dissolved solids / minerals) to give a spot-free finish, providing for maximum cleaned windows. With the purified water, specialised detergent & 6-10m poles, we can reach hard-to-reach windows safely from the ground (in most cases) and provide exceptional results. This is also known as the Water Fed Pole (WFP) method & is very similar the the process used by professional solar panel cleaners. Many people in the window cleaning industry believe this is the future of window cleaning.

Can oil and rust stains be removed from concrete?Due the the nature of concrete which can absorb liquids & oils, some stains can be removed while others cannot. Our professional cleaning services are equipped with specialized products and techniques designed specifically to tackle these stubborn stains. Oil stains typically require degreasers that can break down the oil particles and lift them from the concrete. For rust stains, we use cleaning agents that neutralize the rust, making it easier to remove without damaging the concrete surface but we cannot guarantee it will always be completely removed.
